I'd find it patronizing and offensive. MPWH staff do contribute posts to the site, but they can be poorly written and full of misspellings, hardly an encouraging sign for site members. He'd been scanning through the survey answers associated with my profile, and one response in particular gave him pause: Essentially, what I am here to say is that all this "herpes wingman" talk turns out to be spot on. The major example was a girl with herpes who had feared getting rejected for having it, and was talking about how std dating was wonderful for her.
So encouraging to hear this!
